Margaret Bernhart, M.A., LMHC
Executive Director
A Fairfax, Virginia native, Margaret received her undergraduate training at the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Sociology and Religion. After graduation, she relocated to Tallahassee and worked at a national real estate publishing firm for nine years.
Serving on RMI's original board of directors, Margaret secured a Master's degree in counseling from Liberty University in 1992. She is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Florida and serves as Executive Director of RMI.
Margaret is grateful for her spiritual roots and the view of marriage that come from the legacy of Christian parents who celebrated five decades of loving companionship. She enjoys individual and marital counseling and specializing in the areas of codependency, sexual abuse, and addictions. She speaks on topics ranging from Forgiveness, Intimacy with God, and the Gift of Brokenness to name a few. In her spare time, she prefers reading the works of early Christian writers and philosophers.
